Every morning when I wake up, I'm reminded of why I do what I do.
I look at my father's photo. He's been gone almost four years. He served proudly in the United States Navy, and I think about the sacrifices his generation made for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Then I look at my wife's photo. She's been gone almost five years, and not a day goes by that I don't miss her. She was a big supporter of President Trump, and I know if she were here, she'd be telling me to keep pushing, keep working hard, and never give up on what I believe in.
And then I look at my two grandsons, five and seven years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. They don't understand everything happening in this world right now, but one day they will. The decisions we make today will shape the country they inherit.
That's what gets me up every day to research the news, report the truth, and do my part. It's why I care so deeply about the direction of this country and why I believe our votes matter.
For me, this has never been just about politics. It's about honoring the generations who came before us and protecting the ones coming after us.
I can't bring my father or my wife back, but I can honor their memory through the way I live. Someday, when my grandsons are grown, I want them to know their grandpa didn't just sit back and watch the world change. He cared enough to stand up for what he believed in.
That's my why. And that's why I'm not giving up. 💪🇺🇸
