Hey everyone! While my dear Raven is getting ready for work, I thought I’d take a little time to tell you more about myself and get to know you all a bit better. My name is Sebastian, I’m 23 years old. I was born and raised in the United States, in sunny California, but I’m currently in France. I’m studying medicine, and I’ve chosen dentistry as my specialty.
I’ve always been surrounded by animals, especially dogs, ever since I was a kid, so I can confidently say that I’m basically an honorary member of their pack 😁 I simply can’t walk past a cute furry friend without stopping to admire them.
I’ve been playing Romance Club since 2019. How did I find the app? Simple — social media works its magic 😁 A lot has changed since then, but some stories still hold a special place in my heart. For example, I still absolutely love Sails in the Fog 🫶🏻
And now, I guess the most interesting part — how did I actually meet Raven?
It all started completely by chance on Instagram, in the comments under a post by an American blogger. Raven and I got into a little argument, and, as usual, we were both convinced that we were right. But at one point, she came out with a phrase that I’m pretty sure I’ll remember for a long time:
“I’m Slavic!”
And that was the moment I realized this argument was getting dangerous 😂
She said it with such confidence and attitude that I couldn’t help but laugh. In the end, Raven actually managed to defend her position and even convinced me that she was right. I really liked that — especially her personality and the way she wasn’t afraid to stand up for what she believed in.
After that, I became curious about getting to know her better, so we started talking privately. Not long after, I found out that Raven was making edits related to Romance Club. At some point, though, she decided to leave it all behind and quit.
And that was something I simply couldn’t ignore. I convinced her not to give up on the channel and offered to help her. I told her that if managing everything on her own was becoming too much, I’d be happy to help and take some of the responsibilities off her shoulders.
And that’s how I eventually became one of the people running the channel.
Honestly, back then I never could have imagined that a random argument in an Instagram comment section, starting with the words “I’m Slavic!”, would lead to a friendship and everything that came after.
You really never know where one random comment can take you 😂
