CW TW // RA-PE MENTIONED

friendly reminder, please don’t look away from what women are still facing in so many places.

in a f g h a n i s t a n, girls are banned from higher education and women are erased from public life. in india, rape culture, child marriage in some areas, and victim-blaming are still serious issues. in iran, women risk arrest or violence for not following strict dress rules. in saudi arabia, male guardianship laws still limit women’s independence in many situations. in yemen, war has left women facing forced marriage and almost no access to healthcare. in sudan, conflict has led to widespread sexual violence. in parts of latin america like mexico and honduras, femicide rates are terrifyingly high. even in developed countries, women still fight wage gaps, harassment, and loss of reproductive rights.

different cultures, different systems, but the same pattern: control over women’s bodies, voices, and choices.

“if you don’t fight for all women, you fight for no women.” #Utopia
