bookmark-gt: a module to improve bookmark management

I have been working on a package to improve bookmark management. It is inspired by bookmark+ with a more recent and simplified interface.

Along its most important features:

tag support
 including default tags
ability to name several bookmarks with the same name
 differentiated by tags
a rich bookmark list buffer for bookmark management
 marginalia/vertico/consult support for bookmark jumping
temporary bookmarks (not saved to disk)
 autoupdate bookmarks (keep track of where you are when reading a long document)
several handlers for bookmarks
 dired
macros
 sequences of bookmarks
