Returning to C++

I was a sw dev in C/C++ from 1995 to 2006 at both Intel and Microsoft. I then switched gears to do build/release engineering and configuration management. When DevOps replaced that path in 2018ish, I started to lose interest. I want to switch back to CPP development now. I have Stroustrup's C++11 book along with his programming principles and practice. I have looked online for how to ramp up for interviews as well.
To really prepare myself for the market now, are there other suggestions for getting myself job ready?
