Commercial Pilots of Reddit... Uninformed PAX here. Curious if aircraft of the same type are effectively homogeneous- you hop in one and flying it is like eating a frozen pizza - each one is indistinguishable from the brand that you ate yesterday or last month.

Obviously cockpit layout, checklists and aerodynamic / flight characteristics are going to be the same. But curious if there are subtle but distinctive idiosyncrasies between the same model of aircraft that give them a slightly different feel in the day to day operating environment.

I could see age of plane, wear and tear, or models of computers all being noteable and detectable.

I've been flying a lot more than usual this year and it crossed my mind on approach the other day thinking about the different birds that have hauled me over the planet.

Thanks for entertaining my odd question.
