by being at the right place at the right time, and those types allowed me to be competitive for a job like this that is supposed to be “end game”. There are some things I don’t love, and job stability isn’t any more guaranteed just because the company has been around for a long time. But I'd like to think I could spend quite some time, if not a career, at a department like this.
