More than half of the Palestinian minors arrested by Israeli forces in 2025 were placed in solitary confinement, according to data obtained by two Israeli human rights organizations.

The data shows that 351 of 635 minors in Israeli custody were placed in solitary confinement, 92 percent of them unsentenced, including 115 held in administrative detention without charges.

Some were isolated up to eight times.

Israeli forces have detained more than 2,000 Palestinian children since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said, adding that at least 350 children are currently being held in Israeli prisons under “harsh conditions.”
