Israeli occupation army operates a dedicated unit monitoring Palestinian social media across the occupied West Bank, using posts deemed "incitement" as grounds for night raids and arrests.
Established in October 2023, the unit has led to over 600 arrests and trials, with 215 detentions in 2026 alone.
The digital crackdown pairs with sweeping ground operations: Israeli occupation forces recently raided around 70 alleged "incitement" sites, conducted over 1,000 interrogations, and removed roughly 30 memorials.
Israeli occupation authorities have also shut down over 24 charities, sealed printing presses, and closed more than 40 exchange shops accused of financing terrorism.
