Nearly four hundred employees across Dutch public broadcasting organizations have signed a letter to the NPO calling for the Netherlands to withdraw from the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in protest against Israel's participation while the genocide in Gaza continues.

The staff demand an end to any appearance of normalizing the killing and displacement of Palestinians and have warned of possible strikes if their demands are not met.
