The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that approximately 13% of Gaza’s 2.4 million Palestinians have been killed, injured, disappeared or detained during three years of Israel’s genocidal war.

In a statement marking the war’s third anniversary, the rights group estimated that nine out of ten Palestinians killed were civilians, while children and women accounted for 30% and 20% of victims, respectively.

It further reported that more than 10,000 children had lost at least one leg, approximately 40,000 Palestinians faced permanent disabilities or long-term rehabilitation needs, and around 2,700 people remained in Israeli detention or were subjected to enforced disappearance.
