The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC), seeking an investigation into Israeli doctors, senior health officials and the Israeli Medical Association over their complicity in the torture, abuse and deaths of Palestinian detainees at the Sde Teiman detention facility.

The complaints say that medical personnel participated in a system of torture in which Palestinian detainees were treated while shackled and blindfolded, denied adequate medical care and subjected to practices that violated medical ethics.

The foundation is seeking investigations into possible war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, extending responsibility to senior officials in Israel's health and defence ministries.
