Palestinian citizens in the village of Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, thwarted an attempt by Israeli settlers to steal olives belonging to local farmers.

Israeli forces backed the attackers during the assault on villagers, but the attempted theft was unsuccessful.
