Israeli prison authorities have held Palestinian journalist Bushra al-Tawil in isolation for 46 consecutive days, repeatedly transferring her between detention facilities and preventing her lawyers from visiting, according to Palestinian prisoners’ rights organizations.

The 33-year-old journalist, detained since February 2026 without charge or trial, was recently transferred to Ohalei Oz prison in Beersheba, disrupting another scheduled legal visit.

Human rights organizations warned that her prolonged isolation raises serious concerns over her safety and treatment, calling for urgent international intervention to end her isolation and secure her release.
