Happy valentine’s day, you menace.

I know your love language isn’t words of affirmation, so I won’t suddenly write you a 10 paragraph speech that makes you question our entire friendship. Valentine’s day is usually all pink hearts and dramatic love stories, but I’m just grateful I get to have you in my life ok. Somehow, you’re both annoying and comforting at the same time.

This year, I truly pray that everything good finds its way to you. I hope you’re given health, peace, and a heart that feels light. I hope the things you’ve been quietly hoping for slowly come true. I hope you’re surrounded by people who treat you gently and love you the right way. And when things don’t go as planned, I hope you’re given strength, patience, and the reminder that better days are still coming. I'm always rooting for you.
