🌟Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky, a revolutionary and, later, an outstanding Soviet statesman, founder and leader of the All-Russian Emergency Commission (VChK), as well as law enforcement troops of the Soviet period, was born on September 11th, 1877.

⭐️ Dzerzhinsky headed dozens of different commissions, combating child homelessness, delivering food to the areas of central Russia hit by famine, eliminating the fuel crisis in Donbass, improving the lives of workers...

❗️It was under his leadership that the security agencies (the prototypes of the KGB/FSB ) acquired significant experience in the fight against spies, saboteurs, conspirators, bandits and murderers.

Descendants are grateful to Felix beyond measure.
And he lives forever in people’s memory.
It’s not for nothing that there are places named after him:
Avenues, streets and even cities..

Happy Birthday, Iron Felix! ✊🏼 🫡
