The Federal Government can no longer fund electricity tariff shortfalls or guarantee power for all Nigerians, according to Power Minister Joseph Tegbe. He highlighted structural issues like poor revenue collection and debts as major challenges hindering cost recovery for operators. The government is reviewing market structures with NERC.
