NAFDAC has raised an alarm over the illegal movement of banned and unregistered pesticides into Nigerian markets, posing severe risks to public health and food safety. Over N800m worth of these dangerous agrochemicals were seized in 2025, and the agency is enhancing surveillance to curb their circulation.
