Over 100 Palestinians Killed By Israeli Airstrikes In North Gaza's Beit Lahia
Severely injured victims are unable to receive treatment at the Kamal Adwan Hospital after days of raiding by Israeli troops
Nearly 100 civilians were massacred and dozens seriously injured by an Israeli airstrike at dawn in the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, WAFA news agency reported on 29 October.
Medical sources reported that at least 94 people were killed and dozens were missing after Israeli pilots bombed a five-floor residential building housing about 150 displaced persons from the Abu Nasr family in Beit Lahia.
The sources indicated that dozens of people are still trapped under the rubble, while appeals continue for help in searching for survivors because civil defense members and ambulances are unable to reach them.
Local sources told WAFA that more than 20 seriously injured people were brought to the Kamal Adwan Hospital, which has been subjected to continuous artillery shelling since early Tuesday morning.
The health ministry said on Tuesday that those wounded in the strike could not receive care as Israeli troops had raided the hospital days before, detained at least 100 people, and forced many patients and all but one of the hospital’s doctors to evacuate.
