Ben Swann on Oct 7: Not only was the Nova festival at the Gaza border approved last-minute by the Israeli authorities, two entire brigades of soldiers were removed from the area to the West Bank.

As the attack was taking place, the IDF Lieutenant Colonel who approved the festival suggested that partygoers should "fend for themselves".
