⭕️ Trump questions Netanyahu’s future, calls him ‘wartime Prime Minister’

US President Donald Trump has said it is “an open question” whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will seek re-election, describing him as a “wartime Prime Minister” during an interview with ABC News on 9 June.

Trump added, “I don’t know… does he want to continue?” and emphasized, “he’s a wartime Prime Minister… we’re going to win this war very soon, one way or another,” while Israeli polling shows 61% public opposition to Netanyahu’s participation in the next election.

Trump also referred to Netanyahu’s leadership amid ongoing regional aggressions, saying, “I make the decisions. I make all the decisions. He doesn’t make the decisions.”
