US President Donald Trump openly rebuked Kurdish factions from the White House on Monday, accusing the groups of "staling" weapons and failing to mobilize against the Iranian state. Amidst the ongoing US-Israeli military campaign, Trump expressed deep dissatisfaction with Kurdish leaders who he claimed failed to facilitate an internal uprising despite receiving US support.

"The Kurds take, take, take," Trump told reporters, dismissing their favorable standing in Congress by stating that while they have a reputation for fighting hard, "they fight hard when they get paid."

These comments follow widespread reports that the US attempted to funnel weaponry to Kurdish opposition groups to trigger internal instability within Iran. While Iranian Kurdish leaders have officially denied receiving such arms or agreeing to serve as a ground force for the western led campaign, the White House is increasingly vocal about their lack of cooperation.
