Netanyahu To Meet Trump At The White House On July 7, Marking His Third Visit Of The Year | Jun 30, 2025

The news of the visit comes as Trump has been calling for an end to the corruption trial against Netanyahu

President Trump will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday, July 7, marking the third time that he will host the Israeli leader this year.

The upcoming visit comes in the wake of the 12-day US-Israeli war on Iran and amid Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. In the wake of the Iran war, Trump has been calling for an end to the corruption trial against Netanyahu, who faces charges of bribery, corruption, and breach of trust.

“The United States of America spends Billions of Dollars a year, far more than on any other Nation, protecting and supporting Israel,” Trump said in a recent Truth Social post about Netanyahu’s trial. “We are not going to stand for this.”

An Israeli official told Ynet that Netanyahu could arrive in the US on Sunday and is expected to meet Trump at the White House on Monday night. The Israeli leader may ask the US for more military aid since Israel used a significant number of US-made interceptors during the war with Iran.

Trump recently called for a deal that would secure the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza, but there’s no sign that he’s willing to put pressure on Netanyahu to end the war. According to Israeli media reports , the Israeli government is discussing only the possibility of a temporary truce, an idea Hamas opposes.
