An open-source project called Video Use turns Claude Code into a full AI editing assistant that can handle videos directly through chat.

What it can do:

✔️ Edit interviews, tutorials, vlogs, and raw footage
✔️ Cut pauses, filler words, breaths, and dead space automatically
✔️ Apply color grading in different styles
✔️ Add subtitles, effects, and animations
✔️ Save editing progress for later sessions
✔️ Export finished videos as mp4
