How does the referral link work?

Answer:

Why didn’t a referral appear after I sent them the referral link?

Answer:
There are several reasons:
1️⃣ The invitee did not click the link.
2️⃣ You forwarded the invitation to them without hiding the sender’s name, and the invitee clicked on the message header (your name) and went straight to the bot (bypassing the link). This cannot be undone; they would need a new account to follow the specific link.
Therefore, when forwarding, do not forget to choose “Hide Sender Name”. 🙈

What security measures should be taken?

Answer:

Since your wallet is tied to your Telegram account, if your Telegram account is hijacked, you will lose access to your coins. Therefore, maximize the security of your account. 🛡

Follow these steps. Absolute protection does not exist, but these measures will significantly complicate the task for attackers:

1️⃣ Enable Two-Step Verification (2FA):

Open Telegram → Settings → Privacy and Security → Two-Step Verification.
Create a strong password (unique, not used on other services, minimum 12 characters, letters, numbers, symbols).
Set a recovery email (protect this email with 2FA as well).
Save the password in a password manager (e.g., Kaspersky Password Manager or Bitwarden).
Why: Without the password, an attacker cannot log in, even if they intercept the SMS code. 🔐
2️⃣ Set a Passcode Lock for the app:

Settings → Privacy and Security → Passcode Lock (or Passcode & Face ID/Touch ID).
Set a 6-digit code or use biometrics (fingerprint/face).
Set auto-lock (e.g., after 1 minute of inactivity).
Why: Protects access to chats if the device falls into the wrong hands. 📱
3️⃣ Hide Phone Number:

Settings → Privacy and Security → Phone Number → Who can see my phone number → Nobody.
In the section “Who can find me by my number”, select My Contacts. 🙈
4️⃣ Limit Groups and Channels:

Settings → Privacy and Security → Groups & Channels → Who can add me → My Contacts. 🚫
5️⃣ Check and Terminate Active Sessions:

Settings → Devices (or Privacy and Security → Active Sessions).
Review the list of devices where your account is open, and terminate unfamiliar sessions (Terminate all other sessions). 💻
