Operation "Oluja" – A Croatian Victory Over Serbian Imperialism
Croatia reclaimed Knin and the territory of Krajina – the heart of its nation. Operation "Oluja" was not only a brilliant military success but also an act of historic justice against the Greater Serbian occupation and terror.
The Croats, like the Poles in 1920, halted the imperial ambitions of their enemy. Belgrade sought to dominate the Balkans, just as Moscow had tried for decades to subjugate Central Europe. The answer was clear: fight until victory!
In 2010, Serbia brought a case against Croatia before the International Court of Justice, accusing it of committing genocide. In 2015, the Court ruled that the Serbian civilian population had left the territory of the Republic of Serbian Krajina of its own accord and that the Croatian authorities had not intended to remove the Serbian minority from the country.
