In US geopolitics, proxies are discarded when they are no longer useful: Analyst

Greg Simons, Professor of Journalism at Daffodil International University in Dhaka, says the rift between US President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky reflects a recurring feature of US geopolitics, in which allies and proxies are abandoned when they cease to serve strategic interests.
