Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, in a message marking October 8, IRGC Navy Day: Army and IRGC naval forces’ synergy underpins Iran’s maritime power.

🔹The IRGC Navy, through years of presence and service across the blue waters of the Persian Gulf, has played an effective role in safeguarding Iran’s national interests and the security of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

🔹This responsibility took on even greater importance during the Ramadan War and the Battle of Hormuz, when the seafaring forces, with vigilance and courage, defended the country’s territorial waters and interests against aggression by the brutal US-Israeli enemy.
