A new rule has been proposed by the DHS to limit the work authorization of lawful migrants and illegals.

This rule restricts renewal with an E-verify requirement and suggests aliens with criminal history will be denied, aliens ordered removed will be denied, aliens who have 'trigger events' like becoming removable or criminal can be denied. Work authorization duration will be capped and biometrics are mandatory.

This is one of a dozen recent changes, alongside imposition of fines and investigating lawyers.
