An Appeal To Pragmatism Taken seriously Republican voters and representatives could reclaim the White vote as a solid, fairly judged majority in the South and several other red areas.
Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, possibly South Carolina next, are moving at a fast pace to flip their Democrat districts into Republican districts. This is a big change across South if all of them succeed, as Florida's legislature has already done.
