🔴 Anthropic closes third quarter profit with revenue of $16.8 billion

Anthropic's third-quarter revenue grew steadily by nearly 50% to $16.8 billion. At the same time, it's already the second consecutive quarter in which the company has been profitable. For every $1 spent on computing infrastructure, it earned $1.7 in revenue in the previous quarter.

Ahead of its IPO, Anthropic has decided to disclose its third-quarter financial metrics to a select group of investors. According to Bloomberg data, the startup ended the period with revenue of $16.8 billion. It also reported adjusted profitability. The company is already generating positive free cash flow and boasts an adjusted profitability margin of 85%, while its adjusted operating margin, calculated using the same method, stands at 11%.
