🔴 Robot learns new skill from single video, debuts in Nvidia factory
Robotic AI developer Skild AI taught the S1 model to master a new, complex, multi-step task through a single video, without any additional task-specific training. The technology has already been implemented in industrial production: Skild AI , Nvidia, and Foxconn are using the Skild Brain family of robotic manipulators in the assembly of Nvidia Blackwell systems.
Instead of programming each movement, the operator shows S1 how to perform the task, and the model transforms what it sees into autonomous actions. The developers call this approach contextual learning : the example serves as an instruction for the model as it performs the task, so there's no need to adjust the neural network's weights.
