🔴 Canonical accelerates kernel updates: biweekly cycle arrives

The flood of discovered vulnerabilities has become so intense that Canonical's previous Ubuntu kernel update schedule is no longer adequate.

The company is migrating its stable kernels to a new SRU system: instead of a regular four-week update cycle and a separate two-week security cycle, a single two-week process will be maintained.
