"Stygian" means very dark, gloomy, or frightening, and is often associated with the river Styx in Greek mythology,which is considered a river that divides the world of the living and the world of corpses.  This term can also refer to a very dark or scary place.

Hidden in the valley of the Nocturne Abyss, Stygian is the deepest, darkest, and most dangerous base of the three.

"Elysium" in English means "a state of great happiness, everything is perfect." In Greek mythology, Elysium was the abode of the blessed after death, which is a paradise for heroes and virtuous people. "Eclipse" means "closing" or "extinguishing." So, literally, "elysium eclipse" means closing of heaven or blackout of heaven.

Elysium is a place where people still survive with hope behind the hidden truth that one day the truth will destroy them. Elysium is also a place where they are able to strategize well, and be balanced so they don't falter.
