Not long after, Almaric became King of Jerusalem in 1163. When he was born, Jerusalem was under the rule of the Franks, known as the crusaders, who came from Western Europe.
Baldwin was a brave and determined ruler who did his best to protect his kingdom from advancing Muslim armies. But despite his efforts, Baldwin's empire slowly began to decline and his health condition worsened.

devastating blow to the young king and should have had an impact on his short life, but it seems that Baldwin IV was determined to make the most of his time.

Baldwin adalah seorang penguasa pemberani dan tekun serta melalukan yang terbaik untuk melindungi kerajaannya dari kemajuan tentara Muslim.
