It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Sergeant Jacob Roesler, who was involved in a fatal crash this morning while responding to a separate crash.

"Sergeant Roesler, who was 26 years old, served with the Clay Township Ohio Police Department for three years with honor and a deep commitment to protecting and serving others. He was a dedicated public servant who made a lasting impact on our department and the community he swore to protect. Jacob loved the outdoors, his family, friends, and his dog.

We ask that you keep Sergeant Roesler's loved ones, as well as the members of the Clay Township Police Department and the entire law enforcement community, in your thoughts and prayers during this time."
