End of Watch and Last Call for K9 Deputy Jimi:

"The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office is deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of our explosives K9 Deputy Jimi. After a courageous battle with illness, K9 Deputy Jimi passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2026. K9 Jimi faithfully served the Citizens of Muscogee County from 2021-2026, alongside his handler, Sergeant Ryan Early. Before that, K9 Jimi served his country with the United States Army 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and served in combat zones for our country. K9 Jimi conducted explosive sweeps for US Presidents, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, NASCAR, and responded to multiple bomb threats throughout Muscogee County and the surrounding areas. His duty was keeping us safe and he performed his duty until the very end. To us, K9 Jimi was more than a dog. He was our fellow Deputy. Please keep Sgt. Early and the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office family in your prayers."
