It is with heavy hearts that Dorchester County Fire Rescue announces the passing of Ret. Battalion Chief Chastity Bigney after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

"Chastity was a valued member of our DCFR family, and her loss is deeply felt throughout our department. We are grateful for her service, her leadership, and the difference she made in the lives of those who served alongside her. We will always remember her with respect and affection."
