BREAKING: President Donald J. Trump clears the way for Fort Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan to face an Army firing squad, nearly 17 years after Hasan killed 13 people and wounded 32 others in the 2009 attack.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recommended the execution, with the Army secretary now set to determine the time and place.

"Judgment day for Hasan has finally come," Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said.
