Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant Antonia "Toni" Gonzalez in her Retirement!
Lieutenant Gonzalez was born and raised in the City of Long Branch.
She began her career with the Long Branch Police Department in 1996 and graduated from the NJ State Police Academy Municipal Class #194 in
December.
Throughout her tenure, Lieutenant Gonzalez has held numerous positions, including, Field Training Officer, Juvenile Detective, Patrol Supervisor and was
appointed as a Police Resiliency Officer for the Attorney General’s Resiliency
Program. In addition, she worked for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office
Narcotics Task Force, on loan from 1998-1999. She left our department briefly in 2003 to work as a Detective for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes and Child Abuse and Internal Affairs Unit, but returned in 2006.
