It is with heavy hearts that Sheriff Timothy R. Wilz and the entire Waupaca County Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office family share the passing of deputy Dennis Bonikowske.

"Dennis began serving the Sheriff’s Office in March 1996. For more than 30 years, Dennis faithfully served and supported the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy, Captain of the Reserve Deputy Program, and later by helping maintain the Sheriff’s Office Annex.

Dennis was always willing to lend a hand and remained a familiar and appreciated presence within our Sheriff’s Office family."
