⚠️A WEIRD TORNADO THREAT could materialize across parts of central and northern Kansas tomorrow afternoon.

The warm sector of a storm system is getting energized by the moisture plume of Hurricane Polo that just passed over the Baja Peninsula. This cyclone will poof into a jet streak, and excite a strong low-level jet - the nose of which is forecast to reach as far north as the I-70 corridor by late afternoon and evening.

This setup could turn into “beef stew”, with blobs of slow moving storms unable to organize, or a few supercells with isolated tornado potential may materialize
