BREAKING: The U.S. Coast Guard says eight adults suspected of illegally entering the U.S. were detained Tuesday after a 21-foot vessel was intercepted about 6 miles offshore of Point Loma in San Diego.

All eight were transferred to U.S. Border Patrol agents for further investigation.
