Dallas ISD police officer Justin Jones has been released from the hospital and is back home following an officer-involved shooting earlier this month.

Jones had been hospitalized since August 6 after being shot by a suspect during an incident in Far North Dallas.

Dallas ISD confirmed that Jones is now home recovering.
