I was talking with my boss who’s a lawyer and she mentioned how most lawyers lean left politically. I was like “oh, that’s interesting! Why do you think that is?” And she said “well, they’re educated. And you have to read a fuck load of books to become a lawyer.” She wasn’t being unkind, it was her genuine observation lol.

There's some random statistic that shows higher IQ and post high school education tends to lead to more left-leaning ideology. Mostly because when you get your head out of your ass, open your eyes, and see everyone as human beings its hard to be right-wing.
