>Daria Shipilova (27-28), lab tech at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute of Siberia and the Far East, died of suspected pneumonic plague after reportedly dropping/breaking a test tube containing live Yersinia pestis. She went into the Shelekhov district hospital near Irkutsk with severe pneumonia symptoms around Sept 29–30, got ventilated, and was dead by Oct 1–2.
