Why is complacency so high in this region? objectively, we do a lot of stuff wrong, but for some reason or another, we have turned it into a sense of pride? i'll talk about my country so i don't make up stuff about the others

>being a drunk, living in shitty conditions and otherwise absurd news stories are seen as something funny, to brag about to the western world
>celebrities and celebrity culture in general is just endless trashy slop

and it's all just...accepted and celebrated
