Bitcoin has proven one thing across every bear market: it survives.

While trends fade and narratives collapse, Bitcoin continues to stand as the strongest and most anti-fragile asset in the industry. That’s why continuing to build on Bitcoin makes more sense now than ever before.

At PlutoChain, the vision remains clear — unlocking greater scalability, utility, and smart contract functionality for the Bitcoin ecosystem through Layer-2 innovation.

PlutoChain remains focused on:

• Advancing Bitcoin Layer-2 infrastructure
• Supporting scalable BTCFi growth
• Delivering EVM-compatible functionality
• Building for long-term adoption, not short-term hype
• Expanding real-world Bitcoin utility

History continues to show that in difficult markets, Bitcoin endures — and the strongest builders keep shipping.

The future of Bitcoin isn’t just holding BTC.
It’s building the next generation of infrastructure around it.

PlutoChain Is Building on Bitcoin’s Strength

At PlutoChain, we’re building on top of the most antifragile ecosystem in crypto — Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has faced volatility, crashes, criticism, and regulation battles for over a decade. Yet every cycle proves the same thing: Bitcoin survives and comes back stronger.

Volatility is part of the journey, but resilience is what defines Bitcoin.

That’s why PlutoChain is focused on expanding what Bitcoin can do — helping unlock new infrastructure, scalability, and innovation on the strongest foundation in the industry.

The future of crypto won’t replace Bitcoin.

It will be built on top of it.

PlutoChain — Our View on What’s Next for Crypto

Wishing you a great start to 2026 from the PlutoChain team. As the new year begins, we want to share our perspective on where the crypto space is heading.

We believe 2026 will be defined by execution over narratives. The networks that succeed won’t be the loudest — they’ll be the ones that are live, scalable, and consistently used. Layer-2s will continue to play a central role, but only those delivering real performance and decentralization will stand out.

On-chain governance will mature from experimentation into a core operating layer. Communities that actively ship upgrades, vote on proposals, and coordinate transparently will move faster than those relying on off-chain decisions.

We also expect Bitcoin-native innovation to accelerate. Smart contracts, DeFi, and applications built with Bitcoin’s security model at the core will shift from early testing to real adoption.

These aren’t speculative predictions — they’re trends already taking shape.

Developers became a core focus. With the release of the PlutoChain API supporting both REST and GraphQL, along with a live testnet faucet, building on PlutoChain became accessible from day one. Tooling, data access, and onboarding were designed to remove friction and accelerate experimentation.

Decentralized governance took real shape this year. Multiple proposals were introduced, debated, and approved by the community. From proposal approval to interface design readiness, governance wasn’t theoretical — it was active and decisive.

Security and transparency remained non-negotiable. PlutoChain completed a full token audit and continued reinforcing its infrastructure with rigorous testing and community participation.

On the ecosystem side, PlutoChain expanded its reach. PLUTO trading went live, integrations rolled out across major platforms and aggregators, and visibility increased through market tracking services. At the same time, we launched PlutoChain Academy, laying the foundation for education, research, and long-term community growth.

This year was about building the core.
Next year is about acceleration.

More applications. More governance. More builders.

Thank you to everyone who tested, voted, built, shared feedback, and supported PlutoChain throughout the year. The groundwork is in place — and what comes next will be even bigger.

2025 has been a defining year for PlutoChain — a year of shipping, scaling, and turning ideas into real infrastructure.

We kicked things off by publishing PlutoChain Whitepaper v1, setting the technical foundation for what we’re building: a scalable, secure Layer-2 designed to unlock Bitcoin’s next phase. From day one, the focus was clear — performance, decentralization, and community ownership.

Momentum followed quickly. PlutoChain gained visibility across the crypto space, earning coverage from industry publications, analysts, educators, and creators who took a closer look at the technology and its long-term potential. This growing attention confirmed what our community already knew: PlutoChain is building something substantial.

Behind the scenes, development moved fast. Our devnet and testnet delivered strong results, processing millions of blocks and transactions with consistent two-second block times and steady daily activity. These weren’t just numbers — they were proof points of a network built to scale.

We also laid the groundwork for a complete ecosystem. The launch of the PlutoChain App Portal brought everything together in one place — network stats, explorer access, token tools, and governance. This was followed by a redesigned dashboard, improving usability and setting the stage for future features.

One of the biggest utilities of the $PLUTO token?

Decentralized governance that puts the community in control.

On PlutoChain, $PLUTO isn’t just a token — it’s your voice.

🔹 Vote on network upgrades
🔹 Shape protocol parameters
🔹 Engage in governance discussions

Submitted proposals enter the Community Review phase, where all $PLUTO token holders review, provide feedback, and discuss implications.

This collaborative process ensures perspectives are considered before voting.

If you hold $PLUTO, you help decide the future.

This is what governance on a real Bitcoin L2 looks like.

PlutoChain Testnet Update

The PlutoChain testnet is showing strong momentum as we continue to scale. With over 5.3 million blocks produced, more than 5.3 million transactions processed, and close to 2,600 active addresses, the network is proving its resilience and efficiency. Blocks are being finalized at an average of just 2 seconds, with daily transaction volumes already surpassing 43,000. Network utilization remains healthy at 0.15%, and indexing status has reached 100% for both blocks and internal transactions, confirming smooth data integrity across the chain.

On top of these milestones, we’re excited to share that our private mainnet test was also successful, marking a critical step forward in our roadmap. With consistent block production, successful transaction execution, and now a validated mainnet test, PlutoChain is making steady progress toward its vision of becoming the go-to Bitcoin-native Layer-2 for DeFi.

PlutoChain Reveals First Private Mainnet Results

After months of internal development and testing, we’re excited to share a first look at the results from PlutoChain’s Private Mainnet.

During this closed testing phase, the protocol has successfully committed blocks to the Bitcoin blockchain, validating our approach to Layer-2 execution atop the most secure base layer in crypto.
These tests confirmed that key components — including transaction processing, settlement, and state transitions — are working as expected. We’ve been quietly building and refining core systems, and today marks the first time we’re opening the doors to show real activity.

Mainnet remains private for now, as we continue to fine-tune performance, monitor stability, and prepare for broader exposure. But community transparency matters — and today’s update is part of a broader commitment to keep you informed as we build.

You can now explore the Private Mainnet’s progress through our public explorer:

PlutoChain Dev Update: It All Starts With Architecture

We’re getting close to unveiling something big — a core part of what makes PlutoChain different from every other Bitcoin Layer-2 out there. We won’t say the name just yet… but it’s the foundation of the entire chain.

Before we disclose exactly what powers PlutoChain under the hood, we wanted to give you a look at the key architecture elements we focused on during development — and why they’re so crucial to get right.

When you build a Layer-2, the choices you make at the base layer define everything that comes after. Once you're live, changing your architecture is like rebuilding the engine mid-flight. So from day one, our priority was to build on principles that scale.

Here are some of the building blocks we explored:

• Anchoring to Bitcoin for unmatched security and decentralization
• Offloading data to modular availability layers for speed and scalability
• Using proven execution frameworks that support EVM smart contracts and familiar dev tooling
• Cross-chain messaging support, so assets and data can move securely across BTC, Ethereum, and beyond

Each of these components plays a role in how PlutoChain delivers fast, low-cost, and truly decentralized applications — without compromising Bitcoin’s core values.

The full reveal is coming soon. For now, just know this: we didn’t just pick a stack — we engineered it for the long haul.

Stay tuned.
