🌱 Strengthening the GROW Economy
Two changes this week, both aimed at the same goal: making this economy durable enough to still be running years from now.
Liquidity became permanent. 5% of every in-app purchase now goes into the GROW/SOL pool with the LP tokens burned — creating depth that nobody, including us, can ever withdraw.
Today: Emissions come into line. Berrybud now pays 6% per day — 200,000 GROW in, 212,000 out over 24 hours.
Why This Matters
At 25% per day, Berrybud alone was issuing GROW considerably faster than the economy could absorb. An imbalance of that size doesn't stay contained to one seed: it is carried by every holder and shortens the runway of the entire game.
6% is a rate this economy can sustain indefinitely. That is the point. A yield that cannot be paid forever isn't a yield — it's a countdown.
Where Berrybud Now Stands
Sunbud 3% / day
Clover 4% / day
Berrybud 6% / day ← still the strongest rate in the catalogue
The ladder continues to reward patience and scale: the more substantial the seed, the better the daily return. We held that ordering deliberately — a correction that left our flagship seed as the weakest buy would have traded one problem for another.
How It Took Effect
Berrybud's yield is read at harvest rather than at planting, so the new rate applied immediately across all plots, including those already growing. Harvests completed today were paid at 6%.
Going forward, rate changes will honor the rate a seed was planted at.
Unchanged
Daily caps. Seed costs. Sunbud. Clover.
A deeper pool and a sustainable emission rate are the two things that decide whether a token economy lasts. Both are now in place.
