Seeing a security warning doesn't automatically mean an app is malicious. In many cases, it's simply the result of how modified apps are detected by antivirus software.

When an app is modified, its original digital signature changes. Since the signature no longer matches the official release, some antivirus programs may flag it as suspicious. This is normal behavior and does not automatically indicate malware.

Many applications include built-in security and integrity checks. Modifying an app can affect these protections, causing antivirus software to generate warnings—even when the modifications themselves are harmless.

Antivirus software isn't perfect. Sometimes it incorrectly detects safe files as threats, which is known as a false positive. This is common with modified applications and doesn't necessarily mean the APK is unsafe.

Mods require changes to the application's code to unlock or enhance features. Because these changes differ from the original version, some security scanners may classify them as suspicious.

In some cases, security alerts can occur due to conflicts between installed apps or because multiple apps access similar resources. These warnings don't always indicate malicious behavior.
